The Crash of TWA Flight 800

In July of 1996 Jeff was fishing from his kayak in Moriches Bay, adjacent to Westhamtpon Dunes, when he heard a thunderous explosion. "I heard and felt the explosion like a punch in the chest. As I turned to see what it was I saw a large mushroom cloud over the ocean and flaming debris falling from the sky, at that time I didn't know exactly what I had seen, but it left me with an unsettled feeling." Jeff Muhs.
